Title IV, Part A Coalition Update

Posted on October 6, 2016 in ,

Dear Roundtable friends,

As of yesterday (September 27th, 2016), the Title IV, Part A Coalition has sent an updated letter to the House and Senate Appropriations Committee chairs advocating for full funding for the block grant.  Thank you to each and every one of your organizations for signing on in-support.  [Here is a link to the letter distributed], which you are welcome to share with your colleagues, board members, and peers.

In total, 9 Roundtable members joined over 80 national organizations supporting this letter.  It is truly impressive that the music community makes nearly an eighth of the support.  Additionally, 175 state and local organizations signed-on to the letter.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and thank you for your help with this.  As we approach the Fiscal Deadline at the end of this week, I will have more updates to come on the Continuing Resolution process by Congress.

Best,
