Prerequisite for Level III
Folk Song: Successful completion of Level II Folk Song.
FOLK SONG RESEARCH III introduces advanced analysis
techniques. The majority of the class is spent in independent
study, preparing and writing the Folk Song Research paper.
Participants should come prepared with a collection of
twenty-five songs on a pre-approved topic, complete with
Standard Analysis. Prerequisite: Successful completion of Level
II Folk Song Research. Interested participants are encouraged to
attend a one-day session in the spring to be prepared for the
class. Offered tri-annually!
