Music Teacher Position

Christ the King Catholic School is seeking to employ a full-time music teacher to expand our growing Arts program! Areas of teaching would include general music and either band or chorus, depending upon the candidate’s background, education, and experience. A successful candidate would also work with the current music teacher to provide music for school Masses and programs. Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years’ experience working with children in a formal music program. Master’s degree, basic piano skills, and classroom teaching experience preferred. The successful applicant will also possess a joyful spirit, positive attitude, and will be focused on developing the whole-child in a Christ-centered learning environment. CKS is a K-8 Independent Catholic School within the Archdiocese of Atlanta. It is also the parish school for the Cathedral of Christ the King in the Buckhead community of North Atlanta, GA, and home to 570 students.
