I have extensive experience teaching vocal and instrumental music in public and private schools, K-12. For the last 21 years, I've taught undergraduates and graduates at Texas Tech University. I have served as academic director of numerous Kodály Certification programs during the last 20 years, including the West Texas Kodály Initiative, Portland State University, Westminster Choir College and the University of North Texas. Additionally, I am the Artistic Director of The West Texas Children's Chorus.
I have presented workshops for IKS, BKA (British Kodály Academy), ISME (International Society for Music Education), Kodály Province chapters in Canada. I have also been an active national clinician/ conductor, presenting at OAKE, AOSA and ACDA, as well as state and regional conferences throughout the country.
