Intercultural Knowledge and Competence

I have 18 years of experience teaching in Title 1 schools with large ESL student populations. My graduate work has been focused on music accessibility for under-served student populations and ESL students in the music classroom. I am a member of the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access committee for our state music teacher association and have been a panelist for discussions on race and music access in communities of lower SES.
