Elementary Music Specialist

Description

From the current Kodaly certified teacher in this position: “The elementary music specialist at Buffalo Creek Elementary would teach all grade level music classes Kinder-5th grade. Our current enrollment is about 460 students, and we have been on a 4-day rotation for as long as I’ve been here. I’ve never been micromanaged and always have support from admin when needed for programs and choir. The entire 5th grade has been my choir for the past 2 years and I take them to the SBISD Choir Festival. Since I am Kodaly certified, the students are use to lessons packed to keep them moving intellectually and physically. Plus, I have a great-sized room! “

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Music or Music Education
