OAKE MEMBERSHIP TYPES
Professional | $95 | Professional members are persons interested in Kodály music education. Kodály certification is not required. All benefits and rights are included such as holding office and voting. |
Retired | $45 | Professional membership privileges for those 55 or older and retired. |
Lifetime | $1,000 | Lifetime professional membership privileges |
Collegiate | $15 | Collegiate members are individuals attending education institutions as full-time undergraduate or graduate students at an accredited University for the academic year. Students must verify full-time student status in order to qualify. All benefits and rights are included, except holding office and voting. |
Corresponding | $80 | Individuals who reside outside the USA and are not American citizens but wish to support the organization’s goals and activities. All benefits and rights are included, except holding office and voting. |
PARTNERSHIPS
Institutional Partnership | $75 | Institutional Partnership is required of all OAKE-endorsed Kodály Teacher Education Programs. Includes exhibiting rights at OAKE conferences upon payment of prescribed exhibit fees. All benefits and rights are included, singularly for the Institution itself, except holding office and voting. |
Library Partnership | $75 | Library members receive quarterly copies of the OAKE quarterly journal the Kodály Envoy. |
Sustaining Partnership | $125 | Any firm, retailer, business or commercial venture that desires to support the purposes of OAKE. Includes exhibiting rights at OAKE conferences, upon payment of prescribed exhibit fees. |

Join the International Kodály Society (IKS) – $40
Membership is open to individuals and institutions sharing the International Kodály Society’s aims.
Terms of Membership
OAKE Members are granted rights and obligations which can be found in the OAKE Bylaws on the OAKE website. Any updates to these Bylaws are sent to the membership by official OAKE channels.
OAKE Membership begins on the day of the first membership transaction (Membership Join Date) and expires exactly one (1) year later (Expiration Date), except for in the case of a Lifetime Membership. If you Renew your existing OAKE membership while still in Active status, exactly one (1) year of membership will be added to your Expiration Date. If your membership has ended and you Renew after being in Inactive status, you will receive a new expiration date exactly one (1) year after the new renewal transaction date. If you register for a Lifetime membership, you will receive “Lifetime Status” in place of an Expiration Date.
Automatic Renewal
OAKE Members have the option to enroll in Automatic Renewal. The Automatic Renewal Program allows you to renew your membership each year automatically with a credit card. When you enroll in the Automatic Renewal Program, your membership will automatically renew annually. Members may withdraw from the program at any time by logging in to their OAKE account on the OAKE website.

- Here you can check on your Automatic Renewal status, change your source of funds, or cancel your subscription.

Payment Processor
Membership payments are processed via a third party payment system. OAKE does not store financial information related to Membership payments. The Terms of Service and Privacy policy for our third party payment system are located on the Join/Renew checkout page.
Updating Billing Information
OAKE Members may update their billing information through the OAKE website. OAKE does not store billing data. For any technical support, questions or concerns, please contact info @ oake.org.
Membership Rights and Obligations pertaining to the Automatic Renewal Program
OAKE Members are granted rights and obligations which can be found in the OAKE Bylaws on the OAKE website. Any updates to these Bylaws are sent to the membership by official OAKE channels. An OAKE Membership begins on the day of the first membership transaction (Membership Join Date) and expires exactly one (1) year later (Expiration Date). For members enrolled in the Automatic Renewal program, memberships will renew on the exact day of the Last Membership transaction date, exactly one (1) year after registration for the Automatic Renewal program, and subsequent years after, or until canceled. Members may cancel their enrollment in the Automatic Renewal program at any time by going to “My Account” and then click on the “Billing” section, or by contacting the OAKE National Office. If enrollment is canceled, the affected OAKE Membership continues through to the established Expiration Date and your card will not be billed.

There are no refunds or exchanges permitted.
